HSPA1 as Functional Candidate Gene Associated with Heat Tolerance in Karadi Cows

Abstract

Karadi cow is one of the indigenous cattle found in north of Iraq which is characterized by having economically valuable traits. With having special traits such us survive in uncomfortable weather conditions, capability reproducing under stress and heat tolerance to continue economically valuable farming system AL-Hakim et al. (1981). Climate change clues have been have increased substantially during the past century, that leads huge impact, fertility, animal welfare, production efficiency, and its health (Rojas-Downing et al. 2017).
