As a consequence of adequate accuracy and perceptiveness, affordable price,straightforward measurements, and ability to executeanalysis virtual and on field chemicalsensors are becoming increasingly popular for use in environmental monitoring, particularly forsoil analysis. The most current developments in chemical sensors for analyzing the soils havebeen outlined in this review. The operation of chemical sensors used for analyzing soil, and theadvantages and disadvantages, as well as a few applications of single selective sensors as wellas multisensory systems for evaluating contaminants and similar significant soil constraints likemoisture, pH, spent gases, salinity etc.
